“The Jerk™” Touches Down in the U.S.

When Rapala® first introduced The Jerk™ in Canada and Europe, the soft plastic became so popular so quickly that Rapala just had to bring it to the States.

Minnetonka, Minnesota – Customers and distributors have been begging for this bait to hit the American market for months, and for good reason.

Though its profile is similar to other fluke-style baits, what makes this bait so unique – and effective – are the details and the “custom” element, just like all of it’s CrushCity cousins. Sporting a split tail and being comprised of TPE formula, The Jerk is tricked out. The fork-tail creates an erratic, darting action perfect for snap jigging and triggering reaction bites. From snap jigging big walleyes to drop shotting overgrown smallmouth, fish can’t resist The Jerk’s signature quiver.

As with any bait in the CrushCity lineup, there’s a reason for every detail. The Jerk has a wider profile throughout the body and the tail than others on the market, making it incredibly adept at gliding and darting through the water. This bait is supremely versatile from a technique standpoint, and also from a fishery standpoint, from your favorite bass and walleye fisheries to the meandering coastlines while targeting trout and reds.

The Jerk is made with super TPE, which is built to sustain stretching, pulling, tugging, and biting without snapping or breaking, so anglers can catch fish after fish without changing baits. The TPE material and high salt content also allow The Jerk the float.

The Jerk is available in twelve colors, including purpledescent, a first for any bait in the CrushCity lineup other than the Mooch Minnow.

The manufacturer’s suggested retail price for The Jerk is $6.99.
