PORT JEFFERSON, New York— Sea Eagle has re-invented the traditional canoe. The TC16 Travel Canoe is the first of it’s kind, all drop-stitch inflatable canoe. At only 60 pounds, it is much lighter than a traditional canoe, but can handle up to 3 paddlers or 915 pounds. Made entirely of 1000 denier reinforced drop-stitch material with an additional layer of 1000 denier fabric on all sides for durability. The TC16 has a 3” thick floor and 3” thick side chambers.
The two removable, inflatable drop-stitch seats with backrest provide much more comfort than traditional canoe benches. Paddle the TC16 Canoe solo or tandem by simply adjusting the seat placement. An anti-skid EVA foam diamond deck pad provides secure footing when getting in and out of the canoe as well as when paddling. Three main air chambers and a double chine system provide buoyancy and prevents capsizing. Packs neatly in it’s own carry bag, can be stored in a closet and put in a car trunk for impromptu adventures. Exterior measures: 16′ x 38”, interior dimensions: 15’2”” x 25”, deflated dimensions: 39” x 24”x 12”.
