Rome Specialty Company, Inc (ROSCO) acquired the Sampo and Donnmar brand in September 2016 and has been working to re-brand the company’s image to take them to the next level. Today they launched new websites for each brand, www.samposwivels.com and www.donnmarpliers.com. In addition, each brand now has social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn. “These outlets will allow our loyal customers to stay up to date on our latest products and promotions. We can better interact with our customers, share fishing pictures and stories and use these tools to further promote our brands of high quality, made in the U.S.A. fishing tackle” say Jack Butts, President of Rome Specialty Company, Inc.
In addition to the new websites, Sampo Swivels, Donnmar Pliers and ROSCO Terminal Tackle have significantly ramped up advertising. The brands have started to assemble a top quality Pro-Staff of Captains, Guides, tournament anglers and avid fisherman. “It all comes down to getting more fisherman in the doors of our retailers, the more they sell, the more we sell. These three brands are the best terminal tackle and pliers in the fishing industry, the quality is second to none. Rome Specialty Company, Inc. has instituted several new programs over the last five months. Donnmar Pliers now come with an industry best, Limited Lifetime Warranty. For complete warranty details please visit the Donnmar website. In addition, Donnmar Pliers is offering a drop-ship program for retailers at no cost to them. Dealers can list them on their websites for sale and not have the overhead associated with carrying this high-end product. ROSCO will ship the pliers directly from the factory to the dealer’s customer. All three brands are now EDI compliant to further assist dealers in placing orders and ensuring they remain in stock for their customers.
