The PENN Ally II Rod Series adds 15 Boat rods and 8 West Coast models, all featuring high-end components and technique-specific customizations.
PENN Ally II was designed for avid offshore anglers seeking to pair their high-end reels with a rod that matches in power and class. Whether deep dropping, trolling, or needing a species-specific rod, this series has choices for nearshore, offshore, and now additional Boat and West Coast specifications. The rod series features premium components and materials that increase durability and strength, helping anglers land their catch.
Ideal for offshore and heavy-duty fishing, the rods feature one-piece tubular graphite composite blanks. The new Boat and West Coast models are equipped with Sea-Guide PVD black stainless-steel guides with top-of-the-line zirconium inserts. They were designed with EVA grips to add comfort as well as custom full rubberized shrink-wrapped handles (select models) for additional durability while under pressure. They also come equipped with heavy-duty Sea-Guide machined aluminum reel seats (select models) that help keep a secure grip on the reel.
