Lew’s promotes Gary Remensnyder to CEO

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Do Outdoors, LLC, also known as Lew’s Fishing (“Lew’s” or the “Company”), a leading supplier of branded fishing reels, rods, and related accessories, announced today that Gary Remensnyder has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer. Lynn Reeves will remain actively involved in the business as Chairman, continuing to provide strategy and product leadership to the Company.

Mr. Remensnyder, previously President of Lew’s, has more than 20 years of professional experience in the fishing and tackle industry with a demonstrated track record of driving rapid growth and building the Lew’s brand since joining the Company in 2011.

Mr. Reeves stated, “The board and I have been working on a leadership transition plan that allows me to work fewer hours and focus my time primarily on strategy, product innovation, and acquisitions. I am excited that we are able to promote our new Chief Executive Officer from within the Lew’s family.”
