Fishing Tackle Retailer’s 2015 Buyer’s Guide for the sport fishing industry will be published in the upcoming November/December issue.  Don’t miss this once-a-year opportunity to have your company listed in this cross-referenced, source guide and product directory.

The FTR Buyer’s Guide is used by retailers across the country as a  year-round reference to the best buying contacts in the fishing tackle industry. “The Buyer’s Guide was created because there was a need in the industry at the retail level to have access to a directory that would, at their finger tips, give retailers contact information for virtually every manufacturer and marketer of sportfishing equipment,” said FTR Publisher Clem Dippel.

“And that became a very important tool for retailers to have in their office or even on the counter sometimes,” he continued. “Because sometimes the customer would come in for a product they saw advertised in a consumer magazine or the TV, and so the sales clerk could then go to the FTR Buyers Guide and find a contact for that manufacturer.”

Four directories will be published within the Buyer’s Guide. They are:

  1. Wholesaler’s Directory
  2. Manufacturer’s Directory
  3. Products Directory
  4. Manufacturer’s Reps Directory

Your company is eligible for inclusion in the Buyer’s Guide if your company is a manufacturer of products carried by fishing tackle retailers, or if your company is a wholesaler (distributor) that services tackle retailers. A section listing U.S. Manufacturer’s Sales Reps will also be included this year.

How to Submit Your Info

To have your company listed in the 2015 FTR Buyer’s Guide, just visit the entry form section of our website.

If your listing in last year’s edition is correct and no changes are necessary, you may simply select the appropriate checkbox on the form.  You can view a version of last year’s Buyer’s Guide on our Turn Page edition here, if you’d like to see what all of the fuss is about. 

For those interested in standing out from the crowd, you may also highlight your listing in the Buyer’s Guide with a color LOGO STOPPER.  The cost is just $95.00.
