Delta, BC: Today, Gibbs-Delta Tackle, the largest and oldest (109 Years) tackle company in Canada announced they have added to their strong brands by acquiring O’Ki Tackle Manufacturing Ltd.
On the company’s customer-centric strategy, Gibbs-Delta President Rob Campbell said, “O’Ki provides us with another outstanding consumer brand that has stood the test of time through innovation and building lifetime partnerships with distributors, retailers, and all the fishermen/women who have enjoyed the products over the last 45 years. Gibbs-Delta COO, Rob Alcock added, “As a leader in salt and fresh water tackle with over 8,000 SKUs, adding the O’Ki brand to our line-up further ensures we have the breadth of quality products our customers need. On selling to Gibbs-Delta, Brian Smith, President of O’Ki Tackle stated “Gibbs-Delta is the right fit and I am confident that they will honour the O’Ki name. It’s exciting to see this brand go to another Canadian company with so much history, pride and success.”
The transaction closed February 28, 2017.
