GRAHAM, NC—The Big Rock Sports 2018 Outdoor Expo in Orlando recently wrapped up, with more retailers in attendance from previous years. It was held between September 4–6 at Orlando’s Rosen Centre Hotel and many attendees expressed increased excitement around the show’s signature events.
“Several retailers mentioned that we had the best Hot Profit selection and deals they’ve seen, and many have attended our shows for more than 10 years,” explained Big Rock’s Vice President of Merchandising Bob Hunter.
Many new products launched at ICAST were unveiled to Big Rock customers for the first time in Orlando. Retailers also came away with great Black Friday deals from the Closeout Cave, but that wasn’t the only event that wowed them.
“All of the key brands were in attendance with deals as well, and this contributed to many of our customers coming away with feelings of excitement toward upcoming seasons,” said Hunter.
These successes keep the Orlando Outdoor Expo firmly established as the Southeast’s premiere fall fishing event. St. Cloud, MN will host the next fishing show from September 18–20. Retailers will then come from across the US to Nashville, TN, where Big Rock’s first-ever national show will take place in January 2019.
