The Jinx Rod Series from 13 Fishing is a new line of fishing rods designed for freshwater anglers. This series offers retailers a competitively positioned product that expands 13 Fishing's rod portfolio with versatile options for various fishing techniques.

Minnetonka, Minnesota – The new Jinx Series of rods by 13 Fishing was bornout of the rejection of dumb luck and a deep commitment to constructing best-in-class rods for anglers of all levels. Crafted with Japanese 24-ton Graphite Blanks, Evolve® Stainless Steel Tangle-Free Guides with Aluminum Oxide Inserts, an Evolve® Snagless Hook Keeper, and a custom Evolve Reel Seat, success is built into this rod’s bones. It’s the best $80 rod you’ll ever buy.

Jinx rods are made to bring out the best performance in all anglers by allowing them to perfectly align their rod with the technique they’re fishing. The new rods are available in both Casting and Spinning models to suit both power and finesse techniques. Rods range in action from moderately fast to extra fast. Powers range from ultra-light to heavy.

The Jinx series includes Spinning, Spinning Finesse, Spinning Panfish/Trout, Casting Split Grip, and Casting Full Grip.

Spinning

The Jinx Series Spinning Rod comes in nine models, including full grip and split grip designs. The models range from lengths of 6’7” to 7’1”, powers range from medium-light to medium-heavy, and action is either fast or extra fast. The line ratings range from 4 to 10 lbs. to 8 to 14 lbs, and the lure rating ranges between 1/16 to 3/8 oz. and 3/8 to 3/4 oz.

Spinning Finesse

The Jinx Series Spinning Finesse is a split-grip rod that comes in three model sizes: 6’9”, 6’10”, and 7’1”. It imparts fast and extra-fast action with medium to medium-light power. It comes in a line rating of 6 to 12 lbs or 4 to 10 lbs and a lure rating of 3/16 to 5/8 oz. and 1/16 to 3/8 oz.

Spinning Panfish/Trout

The Jinx Series Spinning Panfish/Trout Rod comes in seven model sizes ranging from 5’6” to 7’0”. Its power ranges from ultra-light to light, and action ranges from fast to extra-fast. It comes in line ratings between 2 to 6 lbs and 2 to 8 lbs, and lure ratings between 1/32 to 3/16 oz. and 1/16 to 1/4 oz.

Casting Split Grip

The Jinx Series Casting Split Grip comes in nine model sizes, with lengths ranging from 6’8” to 7’6”. It imparts a variety of actions from fast, mod-fast, to extra-fast. It comes in powers of medium, medium-heavy, and heavy, with a line rating ranging between 10 to 17 lbs and 12 to 20 lbs, and a lure rating ranging from 1/4 to 5/8 oz. and 3/8 to 1 oz.

Casting Full Grip

The Jinx Series Casting Full Grip Rod comes in two model sizes. Both at a length of 7’1”, one model features a medium power while the other is medium-heavy. Both models are fast action. One model has a line rating of 10 to 17 lbs, and the other 12 to 20 lbs. It comes in lure ratings of 1/4 to 5/8 oz. and 3/8 to 1 oz.
