North Adams, MA – Wingo Outdoors is releasing 7 new products and 10 new patterns including a collaboration with outdoor artist Gretchen Leggitt. The crown jewel of the 2023 launch is the innovative Convertible Blanket. Although part of the 2023 Wingo Product line-up, most will be available in the few weeks through retailers and online.
The All-New Convertible Blanket converts easily from a blanket to a pillow. With water-resistant rip-stop nylon on one side and sherpa fleece on the other, this revolutionary indoor/outdoor blanket (or pillow) is chock full of innovative features. As a blanket, you can curl up in the hammock and nestle your feet into the inventive foot pouch designed to keep those tootsies toasty warm. Or, wrap the blanket around you and secure the clasp while sipping coffee on the porch. Lay it rip-stop side down on the grass for a weather-proof picnic. Need a pillow? No problem, the Wingo Convertible Blanket easily stuffs and zips in a fleece pillow. It is the perfect option for cabin life, tenting out or lounging on the couch. It packs down into a small stuff sack for easy transport and storage. This will be your most coveted blanket/pillow in no time. Available in five patterns.
Other additions include a Micro Fiber Towel in five patterns and outdoor themed glassware. With a symmetrical, no-slip, corrosion-resistant buckle, the New Basecamp Rev Belt is a fully reversible 2-in-1 design. With 36 patterns and solids on the reverse side the Basecamp Rev Belt lets you Wear Your Wild Side one minute and tone it down the next.
New patterns include a collaboration with noted outdoor artist Gretchen Leggitt. Leggitt’s art explores a diverse range of subject and medium, evidence of her passion for expansive investigations of the creative world. An avid adventurer and traveler, Gretchen’s playful subjects are mused by influential places that have caught her eye along the way. Many of her patterns and landscapes are reflections of her roots in the Southwest, along with the cultural and natural influence of her current home in the Pacific Northwest. She resides, recreates and creates in Bellingham, WA. Leggitt created four patterns for Wingo: Alpine Snow, Desertscape, Mountain Lake, and Rolling Seas.
Additionally, Wingo has added Misty forests, Navy Retro, Fly Classics, Under the Stars, Buffalo Check, Navy retro River Topo in collaboration with Kind Design, as well as three, solid colors, Espresso, Forest Green and Navy.
