The Sea Falcon Drain Inchiku Jig

Kennesaw, GA – Inchiku jigs were once a well-kept secret among Japanese commercial fishermen. The name, Inchiku, roughly translates to: “So easy, it must be cheating,” but it’s not. They’re all entirely legal and highly effective, but the secret is out. Inchiku jigs are now common all across Japan, and thanks to an exclusive arrangement with SPRO® and Gamakatsu®, Sea Falcon® Drain Inchiku jigs are now available in the USA.

The body of the Inchiku jig is meant to imitate a baitfish and will glow in the water. The jig falls with a side-to-side flutter that varies from narrow to wide and rises in sweeping arcs. As it moves, the attached squid skirt adds extra action while concealing the assist hooks. Each jig comes paired with Gamakatsu assist hooks to ensure you hook more fish and keep them hooked all the way to the boat.

Different fish react differently to different jig lures and under different circumstances, so anglers will need to provide just the right presentation if they want to catch fish when others aren’t.

Inchiku jigs feature two different attachment points, one closest to the ear and the other in the middle of the back of the lure, each offering a different action. The former is the most common way of attaching an Inchiku jig and offers the standard slow-jig presentation with a fluttering action from the squid skirt. The latter provides a wider fluttering action and makes the squid skirt move around much more.

Made with premium components and a hand-painted finish, Drain Inchiku jigs are available in 45 and 60-gram mini-versions and full-sized 120, 150, 200 and 300-gram models to adjust to anglers varying depths and current conditions. They are available in 5 different color configurations, so it is easy to “match the hatch” of whatever the reef and wreck predators might be keying in on.

To produce the rich transparency and appearance of a small, lively fish while ensuring your lures will stand up to repeated attacks from the toothiest predators, each jig is handmade and painted. Sea Falcon meticulously treats the surface of every jig by applying over 20 clear coatings, then polishing each lure twice. In addition, they enhance the appeal of each lure with aluminum or holographic applications. Hook eyes are all part of the same one-piece wireframe to ensure superior strength and lure integrity.

These are maps out on an easy-to-understand chart on their website.
