Shimano S.E.T. Bass Crew On-Site This Weekend at St. Clair

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — With the B.A.S.S. Elite anglers taking to the waters of Lake St. Clair this weekend, the Shimano Experience Team Bass Crew will also be there to showcase the tackle makers newest rods and reels.

Taking place at the Lake St. Clair Metropark – 31300 Metro Parkway in Harrison Township, Mich., just north of Detroit – the Shimano crew will exhibit within the B.A.S.S. Expo this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Those attending can also have some fun at the ‘Bass Brew & BBQ Festival’ taking place in conjunction with the Expo and daily tournament weigh-ins.

Along with having one of the first opportunities in Michigan to check out the new award-winning Stradic FK spinning reels with Shimano’s Hagane Design Concept – and the award-winning G. Loomis E6X bass rods, D&R Sports from Kalamazoo, Mich. will have much of the new tackle for sale at the event. According to Shimano’s Michigan-based sales rep Ron Chess, D&R also has a large assortment of both Shimano and G. Loomis apparel available, including a special red, white and blue colored G. Loomis ‘skeleton logo’ hat to benefit the KeepAmericaFishing.org efforts.
