Shimano Expands Its Jigging Reel Lineup with the Ocea Jigger CT

Charleston, SC – Shimano North America Fishing expands its offshore jigging lineup with the introduction of the Ocea Jigger CT, a new flagship mid-water-column reel debuting at ICAST 2026. The Ocea Jigger CT combines a vertical LCD depth display with Shimano’s InfinityDrive technology to deliver precise depth control and powerful winding performance in demanding offshore conditions.

Available in 2000 and 2500 sizes and both HG (6.2:1) and MG (5.7:1) gear ratios, the Ocea Jigger CT allows anglers to match reel performance to their preferred jigging style. The reel’s vertical LCD display provides real-time depth information, helping anglers stay locked into the strike zone, while InfinityDrive reduces rotational resistance under load for easier winding and increased control during long fights.
