Charleston, SC – Shimano North America Fishing expands its freshwater bass lure lineup at ICAST 2026 with two additions: the Zumverno 95SP MR, a new mid-depth suspending jerkbait built with live sonar anglers in mind, and the all-new Facer 85+SF, a compact multi-configuration swim bait.

The Zumverno 95SP MR expands the proven Zumverno lineup with a mid-range diving profile that reaches approximately 6.5 feet, giving jerkbait anglers and live sonar users access to a key depth zone. Its nose-down posture on the pause, and  its engineered bill produce a sharp, erratic baitfish-imitating action.

The Facer 85+SF is a new 85mm glide bait designed for where matching the hatch is critical. Offering four presentation options (surface, subsurface, 3-foot diving, and i-motion), it delivers the fluid, lifelike movement of a larger glide bait in a more compact profile.

“The Zumverno MR fills a specific depth window that bass anglers have wanted in a jerkbait at this size, and the nose-down posture on the pause makes it a natural fit for anglers using live sonar to target specific fish,” says Kade Gewanter, Product Marketing Manager at Shimano North America Fishing. “The Facer is a different kind of tool altogether, giving anglers a compact glide bait they can actually configure to match what the fish want, which is a real advantage on pressured water.”

Casting performance on the Facer 85+SF is elevated through Shimano’s ARMABOOST technology. As the angler casts, the lure disconnects from an internal magnet and folds into a compact, aerodynamic shape, reducing air resistance and minimizing the chances of the lure spinning during flight. Once the lure hits the water, it reengages with the magnet to produce the smooth, natural swimming action that glide bait presentations depend on. The result is longer, more accurate casts compared to conventional designs of similar size, giving anglers the ability to reach fish holding farther from the boat or beyond the bank. The Facer’s versatility extends further through its interchangeable lips and tail options, which allow anglers to fine-tune both the depth and action of the lure to match conditions on the water.

The Zumverno 95SP MR (MSRP $23.99) is a line addition to Shimano’s Zumverno family of BOOST CONCEPT jerkbaits, available in 95mm and 1/3 oz in a range of proven color patterns, with select colors featuring FLASH BOOST. The Facer 85+SF (MSRP $20.99) is a new product and a new addition to Shimano’s freshwater bass lure lineup. Both will be available at authorized Shimano retailers.
