Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, Garmin once again raises the bar in live sonar viewing, reaching never-before-seen depths and expanding the range of view in both fresh and saltwater environments!

Garmin’s LiveScope™ XR , the latest addition to its award-winning live-scanning sonar lineup, now features an extended range for deeper and open waters. With excellent image sharpness at both close and long ranges simultaneously, LiveScope XR delivers real-time images of fish and structure up to 500 feet in front of or below the boat in freshwater—over 200% more range than the leading competitor system—and up to 350 feet in saltwater.

LiveScope XR is equipped with additional sensors that allow it to constantly adjust the sonar beams to compensate for boat motion, so even in rough conditions, anglers will still see a steady sonar image, even at the extended range now capable with LiveScope XR. This becomes invaluable as depth range increases and anglers fish in the salt where calm days on the water are welcomed but rare sight.

As with all LiveScope systems, LiveScope XR delivers three unique vantage points with a single, easily adjustable mount. Simply turn the transducer forward for a live look at what’s out in front of the boat; point it down to see directly beneath the boat; or turn it sideways with the included Perspective Mode Mount to enable the ‘top down’ perspective mode that’s perfect for scouting open water or shorelines. As your fishing spots change, LiveScope modes change with you to deliver the best possible view of what is beneath the boat. And you can watch it all unfold before your eyes on a compatible Garmin chartplotter screen.

Experience the all-new Garmin LiveScope XR live and in-person at ICAST 2022 in Orlando Florida, July 19-22, at booth 4802 and see what you’ve been missing.

Both the LiveScope XR System and the LiveScope XR LVS62 are available now, with suggested retail prices of $2999.99 and $2499.99, respectively. LiveScope XR is compatible with a wide range of Garmin GPSMAP® and ECHOMAP chartplotters and combo units; click here for the full list of compatible devices.
