Sadler Joins Sportco Marketing to Assist with Promo Work for Shimano, G.Loomis, PowerPro, Jackall

WORTHINGTON, Ohio – For Immediate Release – Now on board as its new ‘Fish Crew’ manager, Drew Sadler has joined Sportco Marketing, one of the leading manufacturer’s rep groups in the fishing tackle industry, announces Kirk Immens, Sportco president. In his new role, Sadler will work hand-in-hand with tackle retailers and with anglers at various fishing events and shows to help educate them on the new products from Shimano, G.Loomis, PowerPro and Jackall.

“Drew brings some outstanding experience in the retail and wholesale side of the fishing industry, plus is an accomplished tournament bass angler,” said Immens. “His efforts working with our staff with their retail accounts, at events such as the G.Loomis and Shimano owner’s tournaments, plus traveling the entire territory in a special Shimano/G.Loomis Bass boat will help Sportco grow our business for all the Shimano brands.”

Sadler was one of the founders of the Eastern Kentucky University bass fishing team, where he also earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s degree in Management. During college and after graduation, Sadler competed – and won a few – Bass Fishing League and B.A.S.S. Nation tournaments. He also served as head coach at the University of Kentucky N.C.C.A. fishing team.

Sadler notes that much of what anglers learn about fishing gear comes from what they read and hear in the media, and even how a product feels in their hands when in a tackle store. The information that these consumers are not getting is the story behind these new products, including why they were developed differently and why they are truly engineered better.
