Built around the same floating, scent-infused LIVEflex material found throughout the series, both new baits combine flexible realism with the durability needed for long days on the water. The buoyant material helps create a natural posture when the bait is at rest, while the infused scent gives fish another reason to commit—especially in clear water, current, and pressured conditions.
The 2½-inch LIVEflex Hellgrammite accurately imitates one of the most important creek and river forage species. Its segmented body, detailed appendages, and defensive posture closely match a real hellgrammite, also known as a dobsonfly larva. The profile is especially effective for smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, trout, panfish, and other gamefish that regularly feed on aquatic insects along rocky creek and river bottoms.
The 2½-inch LIVEflex Tadpole delivers a realistic mid-metamorphosis frog profile, complete with a bulbous head, developing legs, bulging eyes, and a long tail that produces subtle movement in the water. It gives anglers a natural baitfish alternative for ponds, creeks, backwaters, and shallow cover where developing frogs and tadpoles are common forage.
Both baits are designed as ready-to-fish systems. Each package includes a 1/16-ounce and 1/10-ounce KEG Head Jig pre-rigged with LIVEflex bodies, plus one spare 1/16-ounce KEG Head Jig. The unique KEG Head design helps the bait roll and deflect through rock, gravel, wood, and other shallow-water cover while maintaining a balanced, lifelike presentation.
Anglers can swim, drag, hop, drift, or work either profile through current, around shallow cover, or along the bottom. Both the Hellgrammite and Tadpole also offer versatility as jig trailers or on a variety of finesse presentations.
