FORT SMITH, Arkansas— PRADCO Outdoor Brands has appointed Chad Warner as its Brand Manager for BOOYAH Bait Co., YUM and Bandit Lures.
A native of Oklahoma, he brings more than a decade of experience in managing retail outlets, most recently as Community Leader/Manager of seven Walgreens stores in the River Valley region of Arkansas. Warner is a diehard angler and well known in the region as a bass tournament fisherman.
At Walgreen’s, Warner directly supervised all operations for more than 140 employees and sales in excess of $52m. His new responsibilities will be to provide leadership and management oversight for the three PRADCO brands and to work with some of the best professional anglers in the world.
“Chad has a proven record and has shown the ability to juggle multiple projects and oversee a number of responsibilities,” said PRADCO Outdoor Brands Global Brand Manager Chris Gulstad. “His passion for bass fishing and professional bass fishing makes him a tremendously motivated brand manager for these trusted brands.”
Warner said: “I have fished local tournaments for a number of years and realise the dedication and skills it takes to be a professional angler. I look forward to working with them.”
In addition to Warner, PRADCO has also announced the hiring of Fort Smith native Matt Ortega as Senior Buyer. Formerly with QualServ Solutions, a leading provider of custom fixtures to top restaurant and retail brands, Ortega is active in the men’s ministry with his church and a member of Fort Smith Little Theatre.
