Each Gum-Ball Jig also features a premium-quality lead “ball head” molded around a thin-wire, gold-plated hook with a blood red finish, nice wide gap, and super-sharp point for quick and solid hook sets. Additionally, the ball head’s bait saver collar tapers along the hook shank, ensuring remarkable balance to your presentation, while a small baitholder at its end helps keep soft plastics and live bait from sliding down the shaft.
Gum-Ball Jigs are available in 1/64- through 1/2-ounce sizes in White, Black, Pink, Chartreuse, Firetiger, Shrimp, Parrot, Bubblegum, Sunrise, Glo Moonlight and Glo Watermelon color patterns. Jig sizes 1/64 -1/16 oz. sport a custom designed Mustad hook that fits each jig perfectly and allows for a shorter line tie. This results in a more compact presentation that ‘gills, perch and crappie especially relish. Jig sizes 3/16- to ½-oz. use Mustad hooks that are one size larger, making them perfect for predator species like walleyes, sauger and bass.
