DOVER – Effective August 11, 2012, the Division of Fish & Wildlife admended the regulations for fishing for tautog. The new regulations make it unlawful for any person to possess any tautog measuring less than 15 inches in total length. All other current regulations pertaining to season and creel limits for tautog remain in effect. The complete Tidal Finfish Regulation 3531 can be viewed at the following link.
