Every person has a different personality and social style; some people are more open and talkative, some are more reserved. As a salesperson you need to quickly calculate what your customer’s style is and mirror them. Reserved people tend to prefer a reserved sales approach, more outgoing, conversational customers prefer their sales person to be like them. You need to match your selling style to their personality and work with them at the level they feel comfortable with.
