For more than 60 years, Lowrance® has helped anglers find fish with award-winning innovations in sonar technology, navigation, radar and networking solutions. In 2019, Lowrance is taking a bold step forward in this tradition with the release of a new freshwater trolling motor.
Reliable, rugged and built to last, the new ultra-quiet freshwater trolling motor helps you fish longer, run faster and get in close without spooking the fish. The trolling motor has a newly designed brushless motor with the most thrust and the longest run time of any trolling motor on the market, plus other benefits including integrated Lowrance sonar options, waypoint anchoring and an industry-leading three-year warranty.
The brushless motor helps eliminate noisy operation and unlike common brush motors, has no brushes to overheat or wear out, ensuring greater reliability and longer life. The brushless motor emits no electromagnetic interference – giving anglers the clearest sonar views with zero onscreen interference. The combination of precision manufacturing, rare earth materials, and a cutting-edge weedless prop provides high-output thrust with long running efficiency. It generates 25-percent more thrust than current competitors and 45-percent longer run times on the same charge – equivalent to nearly one additional day of operation.
Instant and smooth fly-by-wheel steering control gives the trolling motor the feel of a cable-steer motor, but without the mechanical cables that can wear out over time. Regardless of the brand of trolling motor used before, you will quickly get comfortable with its innovative Lowrance foot pedal, which is completely user-configurable.
Steer, adjust speed, set up route navigation or anchor at a current location with touchscreen control from a Lowrance display using the SmartSteer™ interface. The trolling motor pairs easily with HDS LIVE, HDS Carbon and Elite-Ti2 displays via a simple NMEA 2000® connection.
Plug-and-Play Lowrance Sonar
The Lowrance trolling motor has two integrated sonar nosecone options, including HDI (CHIRP and DownScan Imaging™) and optional Active Imaging 3-in-1 (CHIRP Sonar, SideScan and DownScan Imaging™) transducers. All motors ship standard with an HDI transducer, but can be easily upgraded to a different nosecone.
The 360-degree breakaway mount is designed to take the brunt of any impacts and will automatically realign itself once clear of impacted structure. A composite shaft with lifetime warranty assists in withstanding impacts, and an integrated stabilizer bar reduces bouncing when on plane in rough water. The trolling motor is currently available in a 47-inch shaft model with future shaft-length options coming soon.
We are excited about the possibilities the new trolling motor provides. The combination of reliability, power, efficiency and quiet performance give the trolling motor a winning combination that ticks all the boxes for what anglers want in a premium trolling motor.
