KastKing Adds to Leadership Team

Garden City, NY – KastKing has added two industry veterans to their leadership team as the fishing rod and reel brand prepares for major growth.

KastKing, a subsidiary of Eposeidon, Inc., announced the hiring of Joe Woodward to the position of Marketing Director. Woodward joins the KastKing team with nearly two decades of marketing and branding experience in the fishing and boating industries. These years of experience will serve him well as he seeks to grow the brand’s market share and make KastKing a household name.

“Fishing has always been a major part of my life. I have had the opportunity to experience the outdoors early and often with family and friends – something that’s now core to my family’s lifestyle. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to have a job that aligns so closely with my personal and professional values,” said Woodward. “I look forward to getting KastKing products into more people’s hands so they can experience that moment when they realize their days of compromising are over; they can now get their hands on innovative and dependable gear that’s actually affordable.”

“Joe is a key addition to the KastKing team and will play an integral role in the growth of KastKing worldwide,” says Al Noraker, KastKing’s VP of business development. “He obviously brings years of marketing experience within the outdoor industry to KastKing, but his passion for fishing along with his extraordinary understanding of what the fishing consumer is focused on today, is why Joe is here. Our entire team is on point and ready to support and implement his fresh ideas as we continue our incredible growth both from an e-commerce model as well as our expansion into traditional retail.”

Not stopping there, KastKing also welcomed Regina Gray to the team as their new Creative Director. In this role, Gray, an avid angler and an IGFA World Record holder, will oversee the creative efforts for the brand while also directing KastKing’s social media channels and its team of fishing ambassadors and influencers. “This partnership has been long-time in the making,” says Gray. “As an advocate for women in the fishing industry and a steward of conservation, I strive to build my reputation around positive initiatives with like-minded brands. I couldn’t be happier to work with Eposeidon, a company that has pure enthusiasm for engaging the fishing community. I believe that uniting a team of passionate anglers in the marketing department is a sure-fire recipe for creating a world-class strategy.”

“KastKing has seen incredible growth over the years by using social media to tell our story of technology and affordable innovation as we inspire and educate the consumer about the benefits of KastKing products,” says Noraker. “We welcome Regina (Gina) Gray to KastKing with open arms knowing that she will bring creative and innovative new ideas to expose our brand to a broader range of consumers. Gina is a skilled and passionate angler who identifies with her target audience and will use this knowledge to position our brand across all regions, target species and consumer demographics.”

Over the last two decades, Gray has taken her fishing and design career to the next level, organizing and competing in fishing tournaments and pursuing IGFA World-Records. Supporting conservation initiatives in cooperation with key organizations and brands has been an integral part of her vision. She has spent countless hours volunteering with nonprofits including the International Game Fish Association, The Billfish Foundation, The Presidential Challenge Charitable Foundation and the USVI Open / Atlantic Blue Marlin Tournament.

Some of her career highlights include: ideating and competing on the Costa Del Mar all-female pro team; published in Wild River Press,”Fifty Women Who Fish” that spotlights female anglers from around the world; Hall-of-Famer in FWC’s Trophy Catch program, and developed award-winning content strategies for major outdoor brands.
