Fishing Tackle Retailer‘s annual Buyer’s Guide issue is now available to read online. Thanks to turn-page technology, you can browse the November/December issue—including the Buyer’s Guide with hundreds of tackle distributors, wholesalers and manufacturers—on your computer, tablet or smartphone.
The special, 35th Anniversary edition of Fishing Tackle Retailer chronicles the history of the American sportfishing industry’s go-to magazine for business trends, news and buyer information with a special feature.
“The Buyer’s Guide starts on page 88,” says FTR Digital Editor Joe Sills. “It’s an amazing catalogue of anyone and every company of note in the fishing tackle world. Every year, I travel the country visiting our retailer friends from coast to coast, and I almost always see a copy of the November/December issue on a desk, no matter what time of year it is. That’s got everything to do with the Buyer’s Guide. It’s something that, even after 35 years, is as useful today as it was from the beginning. If you can’t find your copy of the magazine, or you just want a quick reference online, this is an essential link to bookmark.”
In addition to the Buyer’s Guide and 35th Anniversary retrospective, the latest issue of Fishing Tackle Retailer also highlights trolling motors, terminal tackle, the American Sportfishing Association’s October Summit and new products in the marketplace. It also features a guest column from Gary Simpson of Gainesville, Florida’s Gary’s Tackle Box, a fixture in the Sunshine State’s independent retail scene.
“It’s worth a read, and quite honestly a re-read, for anyone who needs to have their finger on the pulse of the tackle industry,” adds Sills.
