Rockledge, FL – Consolidated Electronic Distributors Corp. (CED Marine), has acquired certain assets of Jaytron Marine Electronics, a wholesale distributor of marine electronics based in Bradenton, Florida. CED Marine will immediately begin to provide service and distribution of products to Jaytron’s customer base.
CED Marine President Gregory Borchardt, said, “We look forward to providing a continuity of supply to Jaytron’s dealer base. Our team will work hard to earn and maintain the trust and relationships that Jaytron has built with its customers over more than 30 years in business.”
The acquisition of Jaytron fits well into CED Marine’s existing business and growth strategy. By purchasing Jaytron’s assets, CED Marine further increases its rapid growth in revenues and dealer base. In early May, the company is relocating its corporate headquarters to Melbourne, FL, to a facility that is more than double the size of its current location. The larger facility will allow CED Marine to carry more product lines and continue to provide its customers with the service they have come to expect.
