Brown To Serve As Promotional and Events Manager for Okuma

Rod and Reel manufacturer strengthens industry position with the continued growth and expansion of their promotional and marketing efforts.

Okuma Corporation announces the promotion of Dave Brown to serve as the company’s newly created position of Promotional and Events Manager , Okuma rods & reels, Savage Gear Lures and Nomad Bags. Brown will be at the helm of Okuma’s growing promotional efforts and will spearhead the new Okuma Experience Road show.

Brown has spent the last six years as the West Coast Regional Sales Manager, where under his management, the company has experienced constant growth in the territory. Prior to joining Okuma, Brown worked for 8 years as the Senior Purchasing Manager at Hilton Hotels. Browns background in events coordination and his passion for Okuma brand make him a natural leader for Okuma’s new promotional ventures.

Brown officially assumes the new Promotional and Events Manager position on September 9th, 2013. His responsibilities include managing promotional events for Okuma, Savage Gear, and Nomad bags. Brown will be working in tandem with the marketing department to coordinate a common brand experience for all brands.
