Brent Chapman’s “Pro vs. Joe” Heads to TV

Brent Chapman is off to a screaming fast 2016. On the heels of a Top 5 finish at the recent Elite Series event on Florida’s St. Johns River, Chapman announced this week that his popular “Pro vs. Joe” web series, which pits the 2012 Bassmaster Angler of the Year against everyday anglers on their home waters, is set to begin airing on the Pursuit Channel.

“It feels amazing,” said Chapman’s wife and show co-creator Bobbi Chapman. “We thought it would be fun to do a show and engage all levels of anglers from all over the country, and it was so well received that we were asked to go on TV. That’s really an honor for us. We are honored to be able to do that.”

Pursuit Channel began airing “Pro vs. Joe” earlier this week and will continue throughout the 13-episode season with show times on Mondays at 12:00 noon EST and Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. EST.

“Filming Season One was awesome,” says Chapman. “It was great because we got to see a lot of places that Major League Fishing or the Elite Series just don’t take us to. Sometimes we were at giant reservoirs, but we went to a couple of ponds as well, and we met people from New York to Arizona to Florida, Tennessee and Kentucky. We are looking forward to doing it again.”

Chapman says season two of “Pro vs. Joe” is accepting applicants for competitors at www.provsjoe.com and is actively seeking sponsors as well.
