Big Rock Outdoor Expo Rocks Nashville

GRAHAM, NC—Big Rock Sports recently wrapped up its 2019 Outdoor Expo, which rocked the Music City Convention Center in Nashville, TN. The three-day event kicked off on the morning of January 7, with record participation from customers and vendors. The Expo outperformed the 2018 shows held in Raleigh and Las Vegas combined.

“From the moment doors opened to our show, customer traffic was strong. For the first two days, customers were very impressed by the venue and the more diverse offerings. Then, there was Nash Bash, where our customers and vendors filled up Jason Aldean’s Kitchen on Broadway to cap off the entertainment-filled opening day,” explained Brian Phillips Big Rock Sports Senior Vice President.

This year’s Hot Profit event was followed by an end-of-show grand prize giveaway. Winnings included a new 4×4 Chevy Silverado, a bass boat package, international trips and even more. Customers were also greeted by familiar offerings such as Big Rock’s Closeout Cave and Fishing Tackle Retailer-sponsored New Product Showcase, but there were quite a few new wrinkles added in Nashville. Various performers, including Tennessee Titans cheerleaders, the team’s mascot and country music impersonators made an appearance on the show floor.

By the time doors closed on Wednesday, January 9, there was no doubt that this show lived up to the hype as Big Rock’s biggest and boldest, as the company had originally intended. “The Nashville Outdoor Expo was two years in the making and based on feedback from our customers and vendors, everyone was thrilled and we were excited to announce the Expo will return to Nashville for 2020,” Phillips added.

Even though the Outdoor Expo just finished, Big Rock Sports is already thinking ahead to how they can do better for the next one. For those who’d like to know more about future events like this one, visit
