Bass Pro Shops/Tracker Marine’s Maurice Bowen Joins RBFF Board

ALEXANDRIA, VA The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF) today announced Maurice Bowen has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Bowen, Vice President of Marketing for boat operations in the integrated Bass Pro Shops/Tracker Marine Group marketing team, will bring more than 35 years of marketing expertise to the table, helping RBFF leadership pursue its mission.

“We are very excited to have Maurice on board with RBFF. His expertise in the boating industry will bring great insight to the team,” said RBFF President and CEO Frank Peterson. “We welcome his contributions as we work to build engagement and participation in boating and fishing.”

“RBFF is in a position to make a significant contribution to the introduction of a new generation of Americans to the excitement and wonders of the great outdoors.” said Bowen, “I am enthused about the RBFF mission and excited to have an opportunity to work with the very committed RBFF board and staff on its fulfillment.”

Bowen graduated from Ohio State University, and started his career with Ford Motor Company’s Ford Division. After more than a decade in Ford sales and marketing operations that included a stint as a dealership general manager, Bowen joined the marketing team assembled by Hyundai to launch their U.S. operations. During 12 years with Hyundai Motor America, Maurice completed and received an M.B.A. degree and held senior management positions as the head of the company’s strategic planning office and as the director of marketing. In 2001, Bowen joined Tracker Marine Group as the Vice President of Marketing.
