Ponca City, Okla. – The Bass Federation, the largest grass roots fishing organization in the country and the nation’s leading promoter of high school fishing, along with the Faculty of Fishing (FOF), the country’s leading on-line fishing education resource, have reached a landmark agreement to provide unparalleled access for all high school anglers in TBF’s Student Angler Federation, SAF. The agreement gives SAF members access to an array of educational materials in the FOF education site greatly expanding the companies’ partnership.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to partner with Faculty of Fishing for this exclusive licensing agreement,” TBF National Youth Director, Mark Gintert, said.
“The agreement gives our school clubs access to an awesome selection of educational tools that will not only make them better anglers but also teach them the significant ties between subjects like science, mathematics, technology and how they apply to fishing,” Gintert added. “This is just another great example of our commitment to promote education through fishing.”
“Faculty of Fishing provides anglers with information they need to catch more fish,” Faculty of Fishing Founder, Terry McClymont, said. “We look forward to working with TBF to help anglers of the SAF achieve this goal.”
Getting started is simple. Go to SAF’s website, highschoolfishing.org, and click on the tab, “Online Education”. Anglers and administrators enter their active SAF numbers and zip codes to tap into an entirely new educational experience.
