This week Fishing Tackle Retailer was able to hit a big milestone—we topped over 1,000 Facebook fans. If you’re reading this, you’re probably one of them.

No, you won’t find this post on our home page or under any industry news. We’re keeping this link buried so only you fans can find it.

Why is that? Because we want to thank you for becoming a part of the Fishing Tackle Retailer Facebook family. We realize that you’ve got a million things to do each day, and we really appreciate you taking time to read, comment and share our stories each and every week. Really.

You see, we’ve been in the business to business magazine industry for more than three decades, but this whole social media thing is still new to us. Quite honestly, we’ve learned a lot over our journey to 1,000. We’ve been lucky enough to meet many of you, and to find out a little bit more of what you do like about our magazine, as well as some things you’d like to see!

It’s fans like you who keep Fishing Tackle Retailer going and help us remain the best business to business magazine in the fishing industry. Without you, we’d literally be up the creek without a paddle.
