LONDON— Salmo North America, a division of Fox International Group, Europe’s premier fishing tackle manufacturer is pleased to announce they have reached a new partnership with Slater Sales of Minnesota. Slater will assume all sales and service responsibilities within their contracted region of Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Wisconsin, Texas and the Dakotas.

“After Salmo was acquired by Fox International Group last year, it became clear that it was time to pursue a direct sales and marketing presence in the U.S. With their long-standing history and high level of respect among our retailers, Slater Sales was a natural fit.” Said Greg DeVries, Director of Sales and Marketing for Salmo North America. “Crankbaits from Salmo have a huge popularity in the upper Midwest, and we are excited to have Mark and his team join our efforts as we expand US operations.”

Salmo, now in its 25th year, continues to produce award-winning crankbaits at their facility in northern Poland after being acquired by Fox International Group. Each lure is literally hand-crafted by a team of artisans that take extreme pride in their craft, many of whom have been with the company for over 20 years. “The Salmo brand is synonymous with the finest hand-made quality, and the ability to produce impressive results across many species,” said Mark Slater of the brand. “Slater Sales is excited to represent Salmo Fishing Lures.  Salmo brings Innovation and Newness to the Fishing Lure Market that all Anglers can count on to catch more fish, and we are thrilled to be associated with the brand going forward.”
