Its 95MM aluminum handle sports custom oversized Winn Dri-Tac knobs. The 7-foot one-piece IM8 graphite Speed Stick features American Tackle Airwave guides. The rod’s split-grip handle is highlighted by Winn advanced polymer Dri-Tac technology in Mach Crush orange to complement the outfit’s contrasting black finishes. The lightweight 5.4-ounce Lew’s HyperMag Speed Spool SLP features a one-piece magnesium frame with C45 carbon sideplates and an 11-bearing system. Its compact SLP design allows superb handling of light lines and lures without sacrificing power and performance for all other bass techniques. Cast control is managed by Lew’s externally adjustable 4-pin 27-position SpeedCast ACB Adjustable Centrifugal Braking system. The reel’s 95MM handle is genuine carbon fiber fitted with Winn Dri-Tac knobs. The HyperMag has Lew’s patented Speed Dial line indicator and Speed Keeper hook keeper. Available in right and left-hand models, the HyperMag retails for around $299.99.
Lew’s is also introducing its Mach Speed Fishing Tools series. Among the items are the dual-holstered Mach Speed Tool Pedestal Sheath (tools not included), Mach Speed Throat-Hook Release Tool and patent-pending Mach Speed 8-inch Carbon Steel Pliers.
