Cuda Debuts New Gloves, Tools at ICAST

Product News| Views: 1007

FAIRFIELD, Conn.– Designed to meet the needs of both salt and freshwater anglers alike, Cuda is excited to introduce a new line of marine and freshwater fishing gloves. Available in three styles – bait, wire wrap and offshore – the gloves are constructed from puncture-resistant, multi-layer Kevlar. For added convenience, the gloves also incorporate touchscreen capabilities so you can operate a smartphone or other electronic device while wearing the gloves.

Due to the Kevlar construction, the gloves are extremely durable and protect the user from cuts and abrasions, while remaining lightweight and comfortable to wear. Reflective indicators create added visibility, while convenient pull straps allow the wearer to take the gloves on and off with ease.

“Just like our knives and fishing tools, the new Cuda gloves are built tough, offering the user both protection and performance while on the water,” said Capt. Rick Constantine, vice president of marketing and general manager for Cuda.

The all new Cuda glove line includes:

New Cuda Tools for All Anglers

When a fish swallows a hook, or you’ve accidentally set a hook in your hand, a quality hook cutter becomes a ‘must-have’ for every angler. That’s why Cuda developed a corrosion-resistant, spring-action hook cutter that easily slashes through the toughest hooks and is built to withstand harsh conditions. The new hook cutter is one of several additions to Cuda’s comprehensive accessory line, which is designed to keep anglers equipped for any situation on the water.

The new 10.5-inch Cuda Hook Cutter (#18178, MSRP: $28.74) can easily cut through 6/O hooks due to its long, spring-action handles that provide added leverage and strength. Full-tang construction and corrosion-resistant steel ensure long-lasting durability and performance. Cuda’s signature non-slip, scale pattern grip offers unmatched control, while a convenient locking feature keeps the tool closed and secure when not in use.

“When traditional hook removal isn’t an option, you don’t want to be searching through your tackle box for a rusted out cutter that’s clumsy and awkward to use,” said Capt. Rick Constantine, vice president of marketing and general manager for Cuda. “Our new hook cutter and accessory line are designed to provide high-end performance and precision.”
