The show, hosted by Mark Davis, is broadcast on the Outdoor Channel with PENN rods and reels as the title sponsor.

BigWater Adventures’ “100th Episode special” received a silver Telly in the “Entertainment” and “Nature/Wildlife” subcategories and a bronze Telly in the “Videography” subcategory. Their episode titled “PEI Giant Bluefin Tuna” earned a silver Telly in “Nature/Wildlife” and a bronze Telly in “Videography” subcategories. And finally, their episode “Alaska Halibut Montague Monsters” earned a bronze Telly in the “Nature/Wildlife” and “Travel/Tourism” subcategories.

“We’re very proud to be associated with Mark’s show,” said Rice. “Mark and his crew put in a lot of effort and time to produce a top-quality television show that is both entertaining and informative. PENN fishing equipment has been a valued partner since the show’s inception and plays a critical role in every episode.”

“PENN has been with BigWater Adventures since the very first episode almost 10 years ago,” said Davis. “We literally fish all over the world for everything in the ocean having caught over 200 species to date on PENN tackle.”

Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional and cable television commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and web commercials, videos and films.
