ORLANDO, FL— Big Rock Sports today released an announcement that the remainder of their annual Orlando Fishing Show has been cancelled. Below is the official letter from Big Rock:

As Hurricane Irma continues on its path through the Caribbean toward Florida, we have been working closely with local authorities and the management team at the Rosen Centre to determine the best course of action for the Big Rock Sports Orlando Fishing Show.

We decided to conclude this year’s Big Rock Sports Orlando Fishing Show at 5:00 pm ET on September 6. All events that were planned for after 5:00 pm and for September 7, were cancelled. While we regret having to end the show early, we feel it is the right thing to do. Each and every decision we make starts and ends with our commitment to our customers, vendors and employees.

We will continue to monitor Hurricane Irma over the coming days and will be here to help should you need us. We would like any Big Rock Sports customers who are impacted by the storm to contact us at [email protected] or 800.334.2661.

Best regards,

Your Big Rock Sports Team
